WAKE design + development seeking Temp to Perm Employment - Intermediate Architect 5yrs in New York, NY, US

WAKE is seeking to hire two motivated and talented designers experienced in REVIT and 3D modeling for temporary, short-term contracts, with the potential for permanent employment pending the commission of pending projects. The immediate positions would be 40hrs a week for 1-2 months. 

You'd be working on small to large size creative, design & technical projects ranging from feasibility studies for affordable housing developments (100+ units), to vacation homes in Maine, restaurants in D.C. and the BK Navy Yards, 10,000+ office fit-outs, DOB violation removals, and ground up construction in NYC. 

Retained individuals will be considered first when considering full-time positions should they become available.  

The primary role of the selected candidate will vary in size and scope, but will mainly consist of assisting the principal and project managers in the company through design tasks, including but not limited to:

CAD drafting
Permit Filing and DOB responses.
