VMDO Architects seeking Designer II in Washington, DC, US

VMDO is seeking highly motivated, creative, team-oriented individuals to join our team in the role of Designer II. The ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of post-degree, professional experience and work samples that demonstrates a proficiency in a range of design presentation formats both digitally and hand-drawn formats.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with junior and senior project leaders (PA, PMs) to execute and develop design schemes and technical solutions in every phase of the project from initial concept design to construction documentation
• Collaborate with team members, and consultants to develop and document design solutions in digital (Revit and Sketchup) or hand (sketch or physical model)

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience
• Professional or Graduate degree from an NAAB Accredited or equivalent program in ones chosen design
• Strong design skills and developing technical knowledge
