An award winning architecture/planning/design firm is looking for a Senior Architect to join their New York office and lead a team of designers on a range of exciting projects
Responsibilities:
- Manage contractor and client relationships and team communication through all phases
- Lead a large multidisciplinary team, coordinating the work through all phases.
- Conduct meetings and work sessions including large client teams and contractors
- Lead design presentations to clients, stakeholders and gov’t agencies
- Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases.
- Lead and participate in the production of architectural contract documents in all phases, coordinating the workload of all staff members to complete documents on schedule.
- Perform QC/QA and technical reviews, maintain project manual and specifications
