Description
Technical Advocate, functions as an in-house consultant for a broad range of topics, including building codes, federal accessibility laws, fire/life safety strategies, system selection, product or material selection, technical detailing, best practices/industry standards, office standards, document production, consultant coordination, and contract administration. Technical Advocates are expected to exemplify the following qualities and perform the following responsibilities.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop QA/QC plan for projects and facilitate that plan throughout the life of the project.
- Provide guidance to teams at regular intervals over the life of the project.
- Serve as a resource for building codes, Fire/Life Safety strategies, system selection, product or material selection, technical detailing, best practices/industry standards, office standards, document production, consultant coordination, and contract administration.
