MARS seeking Project Architect/Senior Designer in Houston, TX, US

Responsibilities:

Programming through Construction Documents: 

1. Coordinates production of documents and ensures design intent is maintained throughout design development, construction documents, specifications and construction administration including coordination of all finishes. 
2. Manages projects and communicates interior design ideas and solutions through hand sketching and informal presentations.  
3. Coordinates with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and design team members.  
4. Must work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and be able to work well with others.  
5. Must be able to design and produce documents and details for each project including test fits and marketing documents. 
6. Report to Principals for day to day functional responsibilities for overall direction and approvals. 
7. Advocates design and is able to conceptualize design, and/or advance the concept technically or managerially.
