Design icons Charles & Ray Eames laid the foundation for mid-century modernism and created work that has transcended time. Together, this husband and wife team made significant contributions to architecture, industrial design, graphic design, and storytelling—producing furniture, photography, textiles, toys, exhibitions, and films. Their success and the endurance of their work are a result of their rigorous approach to design. 

At its core, Charles and Ray's greatest legacy is their process, which was fueled by their insatiable curiosity. The Eames Institute is a new 501(c)(3) public charity with a mission of cultivating curiosity to solve problems at any scale. As will be announced publicly this spring, the Institute will be working in coordination with the Eames Foundation (overseeing the historic Eames House in Los Angeles) and the Eames Office (overseeing the ongoing business interests and product development ...
