KDI is currently seeking a Fabrication + Landscape Design Associate to add to our growing team of 18 in downtown Los Angeles, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, hands-on self-starter to work directly with under-resourced communities throughout Southern California. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative interdisciplinary studio environment including landscape designers, urban planners, artists, community organizers, and program development specialists. The candidate should excel in design thinking with strong representation skills with an emphasis on Rhino 3-D modeling and fabrication of site-scale architecture. The candidate will spend part of their time assisting with fabrication of site-scale architecture and part time assisting with landscape design projects.
