Job Purpose: The primary duties of the Senior Technical Specialist to support project teams with detail development, documentation, and specification of systems and assemblies. They will work closely with the Technical director to perform Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures. They will support the teams in code interpretation and reviews for compliance. Instruct novice architects in the practice, guide them in the review of submittals and response to RFI’s.

Senior Technical Specialist Job Duties:

QC/QA reviews of documents
Assessment of risks
Provide detail development and guidance by means of sketching or redlining
Sensitivity to design quality and direction
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent internal and external communication skills
Capable of creating a team atmosphere leading to successful completion of projects
