Lead a team of 3-5 Intermediate and Junior Designers. Oversee their work and present it to the Director and Partner in charge; Interior and exterior design development of the assigned project and during all phases of design (SD, DD, CD) and construction (CA); Review drawings for building code and zoning compliance and responsible for filing the project with the DoB and other organizations, such as HPD in order to acquire Building Approval. Attend meetings with the DoB Examiners in order to review and remove objections towards said approval; Create Construction Documents (CDs) i.e. generate drawing sets with structural and mechanical coordination, interior space planning, sourcing and specifying material, and general utilities; Present ideas to client groups by creating design presentation and preliminary budget and schedules; Perform Construction Administration (CA) by reviewing shop drawings and samples to deliver design intent; Coordinate unexpected changes due to field condition ...
