Matthew Korn Architecture seeking Draftsperson for high-end residential firm in Roslyn, NY, US
We're a 25 year-old boutique-sized firm specializing in high-end residential projects on the "Gold Coast" of Long Island's North Shore, as well as out east in Montauk and The Hamptons. Our style is primarily transitional to traditional.
We're looking for a draftsperson to work primarily on a steady flow of residential wood frame construction documents. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years experience and be well-versed in Autocad, Revit, and Google SketchUp. Photoshop talent is also appreciated.
We value efficiency, initiative, and an ability to solve problems...but also the openness to ask questions.
Polite and clear verbal/written communication skills are necessary to deal with clients, vendors, and building departments.
Our office is clean, sunny, and casual.
A car (and reasonably short commute) is necessary to get to our office in Roslyn, New York.
