Studio Gang seeking Publications Manager in Chicago, IL, US

We are seeking a full-time Publications Manager to join our team in Chicago. This person will bring exceptional talent in writing and editing, as well as a deep interest in publishing and strong skills in research, to support the creation of texts and publication projects that advance the ideas behind the Studio’s work and share them with diverse audiences.

The Publications Manager will work closely with the Publications Director and design teams to write and edit narrative text about Studio projects for use in a variety of formats. They will also contribute to the development and delivery of new publication projects: conducting and compiling research; drafting and editing text; securing images and permissions; communicating with contributors and graphic designers; etc. Related responsibilities will include copy editing/proofreading a variety of Studio documents, responding to external publication requests, and assisting with academic and other research investigations.
